Workshop E Speaker | Are You Ready for a Crisis? | Wednesday, June 21st

Lori Ann Whittington is an accomplished nonprofit professional with more than 25 years of experience and currently serves as CEO of Pine Castle. Previously, Lori Ann served as the First Coast Area Executive Director of the American Cancer Society and later took on the role of National Director of Distinguished Events. In addition, Lori Ann has held leadership positions with The Dallas Opera, The Arts Festival of Atlanta, and the Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens. Lori Ann's prior experience also includes founding a special events production firm in Dallas, Texas and co-owning nonprofit consulting firms based in Atlanta, Georgia and Jacksonville, Florida. Lori Ann serves on state boards for both the Florida Association of Rehabilitation Facilities and Arts4All Florida. She also teaches seminars on topics ranging from special events to crisis communications and donor development.

Workshop: The speakers will define a media crisis using real-life situations and provide attendees a framework to help them successfully navigate their own when/if they face a crisis themselves.  This is followed by a Q&A and a general Toolkit to use in the future.
