Workshop B Speaker | How to Build A Customer-Centric Brand | Tuesday, June 20th

Kelly Rodriguez Laureano has worked with big box retail companies to small independent businesses. She owns her own consulting company and with her husband, Alex, owns 2 restaurants, a Catering Company and assists several other businesses through wholesale products. During Mrs. Rodriguez Laureano's retail career, she spent several years with Guess International, planning product placement on real estate based on the percentage of sales as well as project-managed new store buildouts.

She also spent 8.5 years with Victoria's Secret and was a part of the team that began the development of PINK. She then moved into a brand alignment role of all Brands: Intimates, Beauty, PINK, VS Catalog and Digital to have a  360 customer-centric experience which included product development, in-store experience as well as digital and print experience. Ms. Rodriguez left VS in 2009 to manage the first of six restaurants she and her husband have owned. 

In 2012, she was asked to do a retail consulting job with Nike which led to the creation of her own consulting company. She has since assisted businesses with a number of services from maximizing $'s of products per square foot and fixture design in order to maximize that real estate, store and restaurant layouts, store and restaurant design and advising on Customer-Centric Branding.

She has found her diverse background has positioned her in a unique perspective of understanding the challenges a small or medium size business can struggle with versus the resources a large business has and her ability to assist in closing that time and financial gap. She has found a significant amount of gratitude in assisting other businesses in thriving.
