Become A Speaker

The Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship, in the Florida State University College of Business, is calling for speakers for the 2023 Small Business Leadership Conference slated for June 19-21, 2023, at the Loews Sapphire Falls Resort in Orlando, Florida.

Speakers will join a group of esteemed industry experts in furthering the entrepreneurial efforts of small business owners, encouraging professional development and business growth, as well as networking and enhancing their own professional profile. Speakers will receive a free registration to the conference.

To be considered as a potential speaker, please complete the Call for Workshop proposals form by clicking on the button below.

All presentations should be targeted toward an audience with intermediate to advanced knowledge of running a small business, and should provide the audience with specific, actionable steps they can take when they leave the conference. A primary goal of our conference workshops is to have attendees engage in hands-on learning through creative workshops and interactive tutorials. The Small Business Leadership Conference planning team encourages speakers to include these deliverables in their presentation submissions.

Topics will include business management, business resiliency, financing, market growth, marketing, nonprofit management, and other subjects inherent in small business management.

While breakout speakers will not be compensated, all speakers will receive a FREE conference registration and will be provided a discounted exhibitor space.
